MASALE Diary: Mirwart

Although the war has divided MASALE and the most vulnerable part of our family is now far away, they never forget home for a moment. Children learn by subconsciously reflecting the general anxiety of the world around them in games and drawings. Older family members work and involve foreigners in the culture of Ukraine. Meetings, volunteering, fundraising for the Armed Forces…

As part of one of the projects, a small event was recently held with local residents.

Мірварт. Вечір у колі друзів

Here, in an almost family circle, we gave the people who sheltered us the opportunity to touch Ukrainian customs – to have a warm conversation, support each other and eat delicious food. We think it goes without saying that after that evening, Ukrainian dishes became the topic of conversation for many weeks 🙂

And we do not know whether we will return abroad after the victory of Ukraine, but our new friends are definitely interested in getting to know the inhabitants of the country of indomitable warriors and real strong women.

Our relatives, wherever you are – we hug you. We miss you and look forward to your return home to peaceful Ukraine 🇺🇦
