Half an hour for yourself, beloved!

I can bet on anything: you just came home from work and immediately wandered around the apartment, caught up in household chores. It’s good if you have a husband Georgy Ivanovich, aka Goga, aka Gosha, aka Yuriy and others with him, who will take the burden of a deadline and a finished manager off you, three bags of groceries with a cherry that is a little depressed due to traffic jams, children and a dog , and uncomfortable high-heeled shoes, and instead will give you slippers and say: “Rest, dear. I took a bath for you and I’ll cook dinner myself.” As practice shows, this rarely happens in real life, but you should not be upset. I know for sure – if you can’t avoid domestic chaos, you can at least slightly mitigate its harmful effects on our health and beauty.

In no case do I urge you to lock your children and husband in a closet, and if you’re lucky, push your mother-in-law in there first, and fly to Ibiza. That would be really cool though!! All I ask, dear girls, is to give me half an hour of your life.

Half an hour for yourself, beloved!

Before crying in the kitchen, seeing a mountain of dirty dishes, empty pans with fried meatballs in the morning and fermented vegetable soup, go, my beauties, to the bathroom or bedroom and banally remove your makeup. And only then visit the kitchen but only for those products that I will list below! Dishes and hungry children’s eyes can wait another five minutes. Also ignore the chanson of the bowl-rattling cat singing in a vile voice – the furry bastard will look better than yours by the end of the week.

So, we open the cabinets and the refrigerator and then choose the ingredients of the recipe, according to your wishes and skin type.

Luxurious chocolate facial mask for oily and acne-prone skin

  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • a pinch of ground cinnamon

Chocolate mask for dry skin

  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Moisturizing chocolate masks for face and neck

  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut milk or heavy cream
  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 egg yolk (give the egg white to the cat so it doesn’t meow. They usually like the white)
  • 1 tablespoon of unrefined coconut oil

Chocolate banana mask for glowing skin

  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 bananas (it is better to take three – you will eat one while you stir the mask)
  • 1 tablespoon of unsweetened yogurt or kefir

I will complicate the task a little.

Homemade chocolate masks for dull skin on the face, neck and décolleté

  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons of ground coffee
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut oil

  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 2 vitamin E capsules

  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
  • puree from 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons of olive or sesame oil

  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of chickpea flour
  • 1 teaspoon of unsweetened yogurt
  • juice of half a lemon

I hope you have at least three main ingredients for today’s recipes, and then everything is simple

  1. add all the ingredients to a deep bowl
  2. mix everything until a homogeneous mass is obtained
  3. carefully apply the mask to the face and neck area and “how far below is enough”
  4. let the mask dry
  5. wash off with warm water.

10-20 minutes is enough for the mask to work. During this time, you can drink a couple of sips of wine or beer and even have time to wash the dishes. Feeding children, I’m afraid, will be more difficult and longer. Unless giving them a bowl with washed cherries is also an option. I’m being told in my ear that you can still manage to do it in 20 minutes, even with a chocolate mask on your face, but this already belongs, rather, to the rubric “For adults” and definitely – without the participation of children, pets and mother-in-law (not to night will be mentioned). In general, the choice is always yours.

PLEASE NOTE

  • You should definitely not make such masks if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. I think this is already clear to everyone, but I still decided to remind you.
  • Before applying the mask, always clean your face and remove all traces of makeup and impurities.
  • Never apply the mask too closely to the eyes – the skin there is very delicate. Only if the mask is designed for this area of the face.
  • Do not allow the face mask to dry completely. It is better to wash it while it is semi-dry. If you lost the moment and your face feels like that of a mummy, don’t worry. Just wipe your face with a wet towel and wash off the mask in a minute. When you take extra effort to remove your mask/makeup or use a stiff terry towel on your face, it can damage your skin. Do we need it?
  • When removing the chocolate mask, always gently massage the skin in circular motions – we improve blood flow and perform a lymphatic drainage massage. All the best – for yourself, my love!

That’s it, actually. Now you can put down your phone and go about your business, making a promise to yourself to follow our advice … someday, well, or even at least tomorrow.

If suddenly someone is wondering what natural properties of cocoa we have called you to the service of beauty today

  • According to Wikipedia, cocoa contains catechins, polyphenols and flavanols – organic compounds that determine its powerful antioxidant properties.
  • The flavonols present in cocoa not only protect our skin from harmful ultraviolet rays, but they also moisturize it and improve blood flow.
  • Polyphenols contained in cocoa reduce signs of inflammatory processes in the body, heal skin rashes caused by allergic reactions, and also help in the treatment of other dermatological diseases.
  • Cocoa and dark chocolate help reduce the level of stress hormones, because stress is one of the main causes of collagen breakdown and the appearance of wrinkles.
  • Regular consumption (preferably no more than 40 g per day) of natural cocoa products (or at least high-quality dark chocolate – soon on sale on our website, by the way), as well as their use for cosmetic purposes is an excellent prevention of the development of many physical and psychological diseases, as well as, not I’m afraid of these phrases – it’s just very tasty!

Take care of yourself. And stay beautiful and loved!
