Spicy plum sauce for grilled dishes

Today we are preparing a sauce with plums and spices!

1 kg of plums
3-4 tbsp. soy sauce
3-4 tbsp. oyster sauce – as desired
3-4 spoons of olive oil
crush a couple of cloves of garlic
a small root of ginger (also chopped) or 1 tsp. ground ginger
one small crushed hot pepper, or a little ground cayenne pepper

Let’s cook
  1. Remove the stones from the plums and divide the fruits into halves.
  2. Mix oil, sauces, garlic and spices (for now, play with the spices as you wish – choose according to your own taste, just don’t use them in large quantities).
  3. Mix the plums with the marinade, let them stand for 20 minutes.
  4. Put the plums on the tray with the slices facing up.
  5. Send the plums to the oven heated to 180-200 degrees.
  6. Bake until the plums release their juice and soften completely.
  7. Allow the sauce to cool, pour into a glass jar.
  8. Such a sauce can be kept in the refrigerator for a week or two – it will become even tastier, as well as your grilled vegetables, fish or meat with it.
