Sea buckthorn: we strengthen immunity with pleasure

Sea buckthorn berries contain twice as much vitamin C as citrus fruits and twice as much vitamin E as wheat butter. And sea buckthorn tea keeps the body in good shape and treats colds. Therefore, we have chosen three simple recipes for this drink.

Spicy sea buckthorn tea

Components:

buckthorn – 200 g
water – 700 ml
orange – ½ pc
lime – ½ pc
coconut sugar – 3 tbsp.
cinnamon stick – 1 pc
clove – to taste
fresh mint – as desired

  • Wash the sea buckthorn well and boil it over medium heat for five minutes.
  • Crush the berries slightly with a pestle, add sliced orange and lime, sugar, cinnamon, fresh mint and cloves.
  • Leave to infuse for another five minutes. Drink hot.

Hippophae TEA WITH HONEY

Components:

sea buckthorn – 150 g
water – 500 ml
black tea – 2 tbsp. l
honey – 2 tbsp. l

  • Wash the sea buckthorn well, pound 2/3 of the berries in a mortar.
  • Add the remaining berries and tea to the sea buckthorn puree, pour boiling water over it and let it brew for 7-10 minutes.
  • So that honey does not lose its beneficial properties, it is recommended to add it immediately before use or eat it in a bite.

Sea buckthorn tea with ginger

Components:

buckthorn – 100 g
ginger root – 3 cm
anise (bodian) – 2 pcs
cinnamon – 1 stick
honey – to taste

  • Clean the ginger root and grate it on a fine grater.
  • Wash the sea buckthorn well and pound it in a mortar.
  • Put grated ginger and sea buckthorn puree in a teapot, add star anise and a stick of cinnamon.
  • Pour boiling water and let it brew for 7-10 minutes. Drink hot with honey.
