Pumpkin hummus

Pumpkin time!
So it’s time to make pumpkin hummus! This hummus is very good as a snack for spreading on bread. It looks very elegant due to its bright color.

Ingredients:

250 g of peeled pumpkin
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. tahini (sesame seed paste)
2 cloves of garlic
1 can of canned chickpeas
½ tsp. olive oil
a pinch of ground cumin
salt and spices to taste

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Cut the pumpkin into small pieces, sprinkle with olive oil, sprinkle with cumin and place on a parchment-lined sheet.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes .
  • Drain the water from the canned chickpeas
  • Using a blender, mix the pumpkin, chickpeas, garlic, tahini and lemon juice, spices.
  • If the hummus is too thick, dilute with chickpea liquid.
