Beetroot hummus – bright, tasty, nutritious, useful

We are preparing a healthy spread on bread – Beet hummus.


• 200 g of fresh beets
• 3 tablespoons of tahini
• 1/2 cup of water
• 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
• 250 g of canned chickpeas
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• salt and pepper or other MASALE spices to taste

Cooking Beetroot hummus:
  • Cut the beets in half and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Grind the boiled beets with a blender until smooth.
  • Add tahini, water and lemon juice to the pureed beets and mix with a blender for another 2 minutes.
  • Add chickpeas, salt and pepper to the mixture and puree until smooth.
  • Season with olive oil.
  • Bon appetit!
