Say hello to Terracotta Army and Drunken Monk – the new unusual and unusual hot cocoa drinks in our collection!
TERRACOTTA ARMY
You will need:
2 cups of coconut or any vegetable milk
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. unrefined coconut oil
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. pumpkin puree
Lemon zest for decoration – if desired
- Use a blender to beat all the ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat the cocoa over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Pour the drink into cups and decorate ground ginger or grated lemon peel.
DRUNK MONK
Ingredients:
300 ml of milk
1 glass of dry red wine
100 g grated cocoa beans or bitter dark chocolate
Vanilla, ground cinnamon
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the dark chocolate in the milk. Do not forget to constantly stir the cocoa.
- Bring the cocoa to a boil, then reduce the heat and add the red wine.
- Keep the drink on low heat for another 1-2 minutes.
- We recommend pouring the hot chocolate drink into 2 large cups or 4-6 small ones.

If you use MASALE coconut milk for cooking, don’t forget:
- before opening the milk, hold the can in hot water for a few minutes and shake it – this way the cream will mix with the milk and you will get a homogeneous mixture.
- due to the high fat content of our milk, it can be safely used (and it is even recommended) to dilute with boiled water 1 to 2 or even 1 to 3. The drink will still be quite rich and nutritious.
- the coconut aroma of our milk is quite gentle and therefore will not overpower the natural smell in any way and the taste of other ingredients, but rather will emphasize the aroma of the dish, giving it a touch of exoticism.
