Vegan pate with wakame and avocado is a perfect stand-alone snack that can be served with crackers, toast or bread. It also goes well with seafood and tofu dishes.
INGREDIENTS:
30 g dried Wakame seaweed
2 ripe avocados
1 onion
1/2 lemon
a bunch of fresh cilantro – it goes well with Wakame. But you can replace it with parsley or celery, if cilantro is bad for you)
1 jalapeño or small pepper chili
pinch of salt
olive oil
- Wakame soak in water for 10- 20 minutes. During this time, the brown shade of the algae will disappear and the seaweed will become green and shiny again, having increased in volume by 5-10 times
- Drain the liquid, discarding the algae in a colander
- Clean and finely chop onion
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and separate the flesh from the skin with a spoon.
- Clean and chop the pepper
- Wash the bunch of greens. If the stems of the plant are thick, use only cilantro leaves in the paste
- Put all the ingredients in a blender, add lemon juice, salt to taste, olive oil and grind well.
