Today we are preparing a sauce with plums and spices!
1 kg of plums
3-4 tbsp. soy sauce
3-4 tbsp. oyster sauce – as desired
3-4 spoons of olive oil
crush a couple of cloves of garlic
a small root of ginger (also chopped) or 1 tsp. ground ginger
one small crushed hot pepper, or a little ground cayenne pepper
Let’s cook
- Remove the stones from the plums and divide the fruits into halves.
- Mix oil, sauces, garlic and spices (for now, play with the spices as you wish – choose according to your own taste, just don’t use them in large quantities).
- Mix the plums with the marinade, let them stand for 20 minutes.
- Put the plums on the tray with the slices facing up.
- Send the plums to the oven heated to 180-200 degrees.
- Bake until the plums release their juice and soften completely.
- Allow the sauce to cool, pour into a glass jar.
- Such a sauce can be kept in the refrigerator for a week or two – it will become even tastier, as well as your grilled vegetables, fish or meat with it.
