Green smoothie from mint, ginger, citrus fruits is what you need when the seasons change!
You will need
Main layer:
1 cup of coconut milk or any other plant-based milk
1 banana
1 apple peeled without core
1 tangerine or pitted orange
3 slices of lemon or lemon juice – as desired
1 slice fresh ginger root or dried ginger – to taste
handful of fresh mint
1/2 cup instant oatmeal
1/3 cup coconut flakes or any chopped nuts
1 tablespoon seeds chia
1 tsp. spirulina – optional
✌Middle layer:
1/2 cup pre-cooked quinoa or buckwheat
1/3 cup coconut flakes/nuts
Beauty fruit of your choice (we used shredded coconut and frozen blueberries )
- Place all the ingredients for the main layer of the smoothie in a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour half of the fruit mixture into a jar, add cooked quinoa, coconut flakes or nuts and pour the rest of the smoothie on top.
- Let the nutritious cocktail infuse for 10-15 minutes, before serving, decorate the drink with fruit and enjoy the freshness!
